GTRAMP
"THE SPORT BORN ON INSTAGRAM"

Gtramp, short for 'Garden Trampoline', is a movement led by teenagers worldwide. These unique athletes, mostly self-taught, have connected through social media platforms, primarily on Instagram.
Considered a renegade sport, Gtramp blends the countercultural aspect of skateboarding with the daring of parkour and the energy of freestyle snowboarding. This fusion is fuelled by the advancements in high-performance garden trampolines from brands like ACON, BERG, GeeTramp and NORTH. Gtramp's popularity has skyrocketed in recent years, evidenced by more than 200k posts under the hashtag #gtramp on Instagram. Participants share their progress through photos and videos, fostering a supportive community. The powerful combination of social media and accessible video editing apps, along with the dedication of the participants, has propelled the sport's growth. Despite training in their own backyards, Gtramp athletes remain closely connected through videos and livestreams.
Gtramp served as the precursor to the Freestyle Trampoline movement and we proudly support this community and those seeking an alternative acrobatic sport. Today, Gtramp is one of the most popular international freestyle communities, with the FTA organizing numerous competitions that attract teens from around the world, including the popular global GTGames Series.

EDUCATION
The FTA is taking another approach to help guide these new athletes in the right direction that will allow them to be knowledgeable about the decisions they are making during their training sessions. The FTA’s perspective is to create a series of small local feeder system style events, leading to larger National events, in order to show them in a live environment that training through safe progression does matter!
We offer an online DIY comprehensive training program by our co-founder, Greg Roe, who has a degree in Kinesiology and is a Level 3 Certified Coach. He brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience from his background in Psychology, competing, coaching and training on Team Canada.
The FTA is always looking for new safety measures and new ways to approach the athletes that will educate them and encourage them in a manner that they will understand. We hope they will take their training seriously and implement safety precautions at all times, whether at home or at their local trampoline park.
EVENTS
FTA events bring the world’s top freestyle trampoline athletes, creators and fans together through a growing global series of qualifiers, competitions, camps, showcases, and World Championship events.
From local park qualifiers to major international festivals, each FTA event is designed to celebrate creativity, progression, and community. Athletes compete in a format built specifically for freestyle trampoline, with scoring based on Creativity, Difficulty, and Execution.
Our events are more than competitions. They are a place for athletes to connect, learn, perform, create content, and be part of the future of the sport. Whether you are an athlete, parent, coach, venue, sponsor, or fan, FTA events offer an exciting way to experience freestyle trampoline at the highest level.
